We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit. The role is based at a secure client site in London and requires attendance on site five days per week. Candidates must either already hold or be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (sole British nationality, 10 years UK residence, no more than 28 consecutive days outside UK in last five years).
Responsibilities
* Maintain, support and optimise enterprise network environments.
* Diagnose and resolve complex incidents across LAN, WAN, VPN and data centre environments.
* Configure and manage switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers.
* Implement and control network changes, patching and upgrades through formal change processes.
* Document and improve network configurations, dependencies and technical procedures.
* Support and deliver network modernisation and migration activities.
* Contribute to incident, problem and capacity management processes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale network infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN and data centre networking.
* Hands‑on experience with switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers.
* Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
* Experience working within structured change, incident, and problem management processes.
* Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with Cisco SD‑WAN and IP networking is desirable.
