What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our structural projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Performing complex and specialist quality inspection activities, leveraging your expert knowledge in your specific quality discipline.
* Conducting thorough quality inspections and audits, including conditions management and customer walk-rounds.
* Reviewing and updating established processes and procedures to enhance quality activities.
* Using calibrated measuring equipment to verify product tolerances and document any non-conformances.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential Qualifications:
* A background in Steelwork, Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing.
* Experience in using and training others on relevant technology and tools.
* Ability to interpret specifications, procedures, and contract requirements effectively.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Qualified in an appropriate technical discipline or possess equivalent experience in Steelwork.

About the Structural Quality Control Team:
You will be part of a dynamic and evolving team at the forefront of Dreadnought & Astute submarine construction, covering all areas of the Barrow site (NAS/CYC/DDH). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a complex shipbuilding environment, utilizing a variety of inspection techniques and equipment to support the Dreadnought & Astute build program, ensuring the delivery of world-class submarine capabilities to the Royal Navy.
