Trimmer Seeking a skilled materials Trimmer to join within an R&D capacity for a manufacturing business. This is a precise pattern making / seat trimming environment. Relevant experience within a similar industry is required. Rapidly growing business who have secured several high value contracts. We are currently recruiting for a Seat Trimmer / Pattern Maker to join a growing, engineering SME. The company specializes in military seating manufacturing and have recently secured several big contracts. As a Trimmer, you will have the chance to work within a specialist R&D environment which focusses on developing patterns to design specifications. This role is hands on and builds aspects of cutting, trimming, sewing and pattern making. Salary & Hours: c£30,000 to £35,000 as a guide. Days based role 8:00am to 5:00pm Mon Thurs, and a 8:00am 1:30pm finish on a Friday. Overtime paid at x1.5. 23 days holiday banks. This Trimmer job will suit: Proven experience within pattern making or trimming of upholstery materials. Comfortable working from technical drawings to develop new patterns. Excellent dexterity and craftsmanship to develop high quality products.
