Our City-based client, a highly respected professional services firm, is seeking a Company Secretarial Assistant to join a busy team. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will take responsibility for managing your own client portfolio. The team supports a diverse range of clients - from small owner-managed businesses to large private companies - providing broad exposure and continuous learning opportunities.
The role
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality company secretarial services, including:
Monitoring upcoming Companies House filing deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
Maintaining and updating statutory registers accurately
Preparing board and shareholder minutes, resolutions, and statutory forms
Filing documentation to record changes such as:
Director and officer appointments/resignations
Registered office changes
Company name changes
Accounting reference date amendments
Persons with Significant Control updates
Share allotments and transfers
Removal of charges
Assisting with the incorporation of UK companies and LLPs
Supporting the registration of UK establishments for overseas entities
Assisting with identity verification requirements
The right person for this role will have the following:
Demonstrable experience in a client-facing company secretarial role, either within professional services or a larger corporate environment
Strong working knowledge of company compliance and monitoring requirements
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients
The ability to manage your own workload and client portfolio confidently
CGI qualification (partly or fully qualified preferred)
