Job Description
3. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety strategies for community spaces and properties.
4. Collaborate with local authorities, organisations, and residents to address safety concerns effectively.
5. Monitor and report on safety issues within the community, ensuring timely resolutions.
6. Develop and promote safety awareness campaigns and initiatives.
7. Provide advice and support to residents on property and community safety matters.
8. Assist in the investigation of safety incidents and recommend preventive measures.
9. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and council policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Community Safety Officer should have:
11. A solid understanding of public sector safety requirements, particularly in property management.
12. Experience in collaborating with local authorities and community organisations.
13. Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments and identifying safety improvements.
14. The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

17. Partnership working in an asb/community safety filed, managing projects, working with members.
