Groundworks Foreman
£23 – £26 per hour (DOE)

We’re currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Foreman on behalf of a well-established commercial groundworks and landscaping contractor delivering projects across the Central Belt, including Glasgow and Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for a working foreman, with the option to bring a full squad, to join a contractor with a strong and consistent pipeline of work.

The role
This is a hands-on Foreman position, where you’ll be leading from the front while overseeing site operations. Responsibilities include:

Supervising day-to-day groundworks activities on site
*
Leading and motivating a team to deliver work to programme and specification
*
Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and clients
*
Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
*
Reading and working from drawings and plans
*
Completing basic site paperwork and records
What we’re looking for
*
SSSTS certification
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Strong background across all aspects of groundworks
*
Confident reading and interpreting drawings
*
Ability to lead a team while taking direction from site management
*
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
