Key responsibilities:
* A positive, approachable ‘can-do’ attitude is a MUST
* Confidently run a section to a high standard
* Adhere to company food hygiene standards
* Follow company health & safety standards as outlined in the staff handbook
* Comply with company food specifications
* Be competent in COSHH & HACCP procedures
* Work closely with commis chefs, helping to train them
* Contribute ideas for new menu items and daily specials from your section
About you:
* Have a progressive background with longevity in previous roles
* Be ambitious and eager to push your capabilities to the limit
* Are a competent CDP or a time-served commis chef ready to take the next step in your career
* Confident in running your section and eager to learn all sections of the kitchen
* Approachable, calm under pressure, and willing to go above and beyond for your team
* Career-driven, ambitious, and passionate about all things food
