About the Role:

The support we provide is always person-centred, trauma-informed and wellbeing focused. As an Intensive Peer RecoverySupport Worker, you’ll work alongside Blue Triangle’s colleagues and partner organisations to support thedevelopment of a Connected Community model, including using digital solutions to share what service andcommunity-based support is available and what empowering activities they could connect into.

Main Responsibilities:

This role is based within North Lanarkshire area working 35 hours per week on a rota covering various shift patternsincluding some weekends. The Intensive Peer Recovery Support Worker will:

* Help lead this IRS Service Test of Change to achieve positive recovery outcomes for the people we support underthe direction of the Service Manager.
* Provide trauma-informed, person-centred, and wellbeing-focusedsupport for people with lived or living experience of addiction, helping them to achieve their personal recoverygoals.
* Support people transitioning from supported accommodation into the local community or referredfrom other sources, helping them on their personal Stepping-Stone housing pathway towards a settled tenancy,building their tenancy and life management skills so the tenancy can be flipped into their name at the righttime.
* Support people to engage with all support services and to connect into organisations and groupsthat will help them on their personal recovery journey.
* Promote CHIME outcomes by bringing Connections,Hope, Identity, Meaning, and Empowerment to the people being supported.

* Ability to relate empathetically topeople and recognise their right to choice and independence.

* Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
* Ideally hold an SVQ level3 or above.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you’ll work as part of a team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for the peoplewho use our services. You’ll do this by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them toachieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives. Our Holland Street service is 24/7emergency access, supporting individuals aged between 16-35 who are experiencing homelessness with referralscoming via the case work teams at Glasgow City Council.

Main Responsibilities:

The shift pattern involves working 34 hours per week on a rota consisting of 4x 8.5-hour nightshifts per week. Thisis over a 4-week rolling rota with 2 weekends off per month. The role includes taking referrals, completingbaseline assessments, completing support plan reviews/risk assessments and weekly keyworks as well as the usualservice safety and cleaning tasks as required. The Support Worker will:

* work as part of a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
* support,review, monitor and evaluate through our case management system, to achieve a positive person-centred outcomefor the people we work with in line with organisational, statutory and legislativerequirements.
* maintain and update all recording systems and documentation in line with relevantpolicies, procedures and practice guidelines, including the occupancy agreement, within requiredtimeframes.
* provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings, key work sessions, meetings, reviews andother internal/external meetings in conjunction with the person’s support plan.
* provide general advocacyand advice to the people we support, including assistance to enable them to meet the conditions of theiroccupancy agreements.
