Are you a creative and talented Graphic Designer looking to support a wide range of high profile projects? The communications team at Solihull Council is looking for an exceptional Graphic Designer with strong visual literacy to join the team and make the Council's communication stand out from the crowd! As the Council's designer you will have responsibility for the Council's visual identity and consistent use of its brand, designing everything from annual reports, marketing literature, social media visuals and everything in-between. There are plenty of opportunities to be creative - we are looking for someone who can produce original and high quality designs. Educated to HND or degree level in graphic design (or related subject) you will already have some experience in a graphic design role, including liaising with clients. You will need to understand how to deliver print ready work to tight deadlines, create amazing digital content and support editing our short videos.
Responsibilities
* Designing everything from annual reports, marketing literature, social media visuals and related materials in line with the Council's visual identity and brand guidelines.
* Deliver print-ready work to tight deadlines and produce high-quality digital content.
* Support editing of short videos and contribute to communications across channels.
* Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide design solutions.
Requirements
* Educated to HND or degree level in graphic design (or related subject).
* Experience in a graphic design role, including liaising with clients.
* Strong visual literacy and ability to deliver consistent branding across materials.
