Overview
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people that are not attending school. As an Outreach Tutor, you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons.
Responsibilities
* Reengage pupils in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine.
* Plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in education and improve attainment.
* Work with Prospero Teaching to monitor progression with each pupil and support effective learning.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
* QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
* 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
* Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, however not essential)
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
