The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and managing structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.
* Developing creative and cost-effective structural solutions for a wide range of building types and materials.
* Conducting detailed structural analysis and design using industry-standard software.
* Preparing technical reports, calculations, and specifications.
* Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technicians.
* Collaborating with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure project success.
* Ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
* Chartered or near Chartered status (e.g., CEng MIStructE or MICE).
* Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, with a significant portion in a senior or leadership role.
* Extensive experience with various construction materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
* Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive and collaborative attitude with a strong commitment to quality.
