What you’ll do on a typical day:
You will lead your team and coordinate activities that will achieve business goals, whilst promoting a team-based culture
* You will be aware of any hazards, incidents or accidents and report them to the proper authority to ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained
* You will provide best possible employee relations by positive leadership, encouragement, motivation, regular communication and respect
* You will create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience working in leadership role, within a complex and fast-paced warehouse environment
* An ability to work under pressure and within expected deadlines, in an organised and informed manner
* An approachable and professional demeanour, able to question, challenge and deliver process improvements
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
