Location / Service
Acute service – Elective Orthopaedic Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, NHS Grampian
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Senior Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary/multi‑agency teams to assess and treat patients with elective and trauma orthopaedic conditions.
* Provide innovative and enthusiastic therapy to gain experience within Elective Orthopaedics.
* Exercise continuous personal development (CPD) with regular supervision and in‑service opportunities.
* Meet service needs with occasional 7‑day service cover including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered with HCPC.
* Valid full UK Driver’s Licence.
* Part‑time band 6 static post.
* Must complete application fully; incomplete applications not considered.
* Applicants must be able to attend in‑person interviews; practical element required.

As from 1/4/26, Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata, but hourly rate will increase accordingly so pay is not affected.
