You will be responsible for designing high-precision injection mould tools—from single-impression moulds to multi-cavity hot runner systems—supporting customers in the medical, automotive, switchgear, and packaging sectors. Working Hours 41.5 hours per weekMonday–Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
Main Duties & Responsibilities Designing injection mould tools (single impression and multi-cavity hot runner)Component design and optimisationParticipating in and conducting design reviewsApplying Design for Manufacture (DFM) principlesProducing detailed 3D & 2D designs (Pro/Engineer Creo and SolidWorks desirable)Managing projects from concept to manufactureProviding customer interaction and technical support
Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in injection mould design; Toolmaking experience preferredStrong knowledge of: Side cores, up-and-aways, lifters, and complex motionsHot runner systemsSteel type selection and polymer behaviourHydraulics and machining strategies Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality or safetyStrong communication and teamwork skills
