Position Overview This is a new Sustainability Consultant role. Using our bespoke carbon reporting software, you will guide clients through their carbon reduction journey, assisting them with any technical questions or queries relating to carbon emissions, footprints, and carbon neutrality. You will take ownership of a selection of clients to help them with their ESOS and SECR compliances with a view to growing and developing them to help them benefit from other Enistic services. This will involve liaising with clients on a regular basis. This role will primarily include: Assist clients to calculate, analyse and reduce their carbon emissions and carbon footprint. Ensuring the clients’ compliance with the latest Government legislation on Environmental issues (ESOS, SECR, PPN 06/21, SBT, TCFD, Carbon Reduction Plans, etc.). Using client data to produce reports for above compliance. Manage clients through the processes of Carbon Footprint measurement through to Carbon Neutrality. Become an expert in our software in order to train clients in its use. Attend weekly, monthly update meetings. Help the Marketing team create support content for the software, such as videos and guides. Requirements: Bachelors degree in relevant field (such as Sustainability, Environmental Science etc.). Strong IT skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, concatenating cells, VLOOKUP’s, and validating large data tables). Requirements – non essential: Knowledge of GHG Protocol, scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Knowledge of SECR and ESOS reporting. Knowledge of SBTi, TCFD and ESG. Knowledge of EPD. Having previous experience in the industry is a plus. Skills and Experience: Accuracy and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Client-focus approach.
