About the Role Insight Platform is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Practitioner to lead a dedicated team supporting young people and individuals affected by substance misuse. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to shape high-quality services and make a meaningful impact within the community. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering effective, person-centred support, driving service improvement, and ensuring excellent outcomes for service users and their families. What You’ll Do As Senior Practitioner your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Oversee day-to-day service delivery within your specialist area, ensuring quality and performance targets (KPIs) are met. Manage and mentor a team of Recovery Coordinators and Support Workers, providing regular supervision, training, and development. Lead the delivery of services that meet local needs, including harm reduction, evidence-based interventions (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, CBT, PSIs), and holistic recovery planning. Manage a small caseload (10-15 Young People), conducting comprehensive assessments, risk management, and family involvement in recovery where appropriate. Ensure accessibility of services, especially for underrepresented groups, and work with service users to shape future service improvements. Deputise for the Service Manager when needed and contribute to strategic planning and corporate activities. To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need: Proven leadership experience, ideally in substance misuse, health and social care, or related fields. Strong skills in assessment, risk management, and implementing recovery plans. Experience delivering 1:1 and group interventions, with knowledge of best practice frameworks (NICE, Care Quality Commission). Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis to support continuous service improvement.
