Job Description
Role: Planning and Logistics Manager
Report to: Senior Operations Manager
Based at: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.
You will be responsible for ensuring that orders are planned into the production plan and that logistics for pickups and deliveries are executed efficiently through effective communication and planning.
Your responsibilities
* Ensure all orders are integrated into the production plan to meet delivery deadlines.
* Liaise with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of packaging and products.
* Maintain accurate stock records on SAGE 200.
* Coordinate with the senior Operations Manager and Finance to manage stock levels based on sales forecasts.
* Work with the Sales Department to align on sales forecasts.
* Manage logistics companies to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
* Investigate and resolve delivery complaints.
* Ensure all export customs documentation is accurate.
* Perform any other duties reasonably required by the business.
Skills and experience
This role requires:
* Experience with Sage 200
* Data analysis skills
* Knowledge of BRC standards
* Ability to meet KPIs such as 'Order in Time in Full', 'Warehouse GMP Audit', and 'Orders produced in time and in full'
