A London-based local authority is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Consultant to support the mobilisation of a large property and ensure it is fully operational. This is a high-profile project requiring strong technical expertise and stakeholder engagement skills.
Your new role
As the Facilities Management Consultant, you will:
1. Lead the mobilisation of a major property, ensuring readiness for occupation and service delivery.
2. Develop and implement facilities management strategies aligned with statutorypliance and local authority standards.
3. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver a seamless operational transition.
4. Establish robust health and safety, maintenance, andpliance frameworks.
5. Manage budgets, timelines, and reporting throughout mobilisation.
6. Identify and mitigate risks associated with property mobilisation and operational start-up.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Proven experience in facilities management and large-scale property mobilisation.
8. Strong knowledge of UKpliance standards, health and safety regulations, and building operations.
9. Excellent stakeholder management andmunication skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
11. Experience within local authority or public sector environments is highly desirable.
12. Relevant qualifications (, IWFM membership, NEBOSH) are advantageous.
