SEND Lecturer - 0.5 Horticulture & Conservation Specialist
£16,241.50 - £22,800.50 per annum
A position has become available within the discrete SEND department for a 0.5 Lecturer to deliver specialist training in horticulture and conservation skills, with personal tutor pastoral responsibilities. The successful candidate will have:
* A passion for inclusive teaching and positive outcomes for young people with SEND.
* Qualifications and/or experience in teaching in discrete or specialist provision.
* Qualifications and/or experience in horticulture and conservation.
* Ideally have a teaching qualification, e.g. PTTLS.
* Experience of teaching and supporting young people.
* A calm and empathic approach to students, with experience of using adaptive teaching methods.
* The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders such as professionals, parents, and support services.
* Excellent organisation and time management skills.

A teaching qualification would be an advantage or a commitment to undertake this within the first year of employment is essential.
