Cranswick Country Foods is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Commercial Executive to support our key Sainsbury’s account. In this role, you will work closely with the National Account Manager, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver strategies that drive category growth, maximise commercial performance, and strengthen our partnership with one of the UK’s leading retailers. What You’ll Do
* Account Support & Strategy – Partner with the National Account Manager to support Sainsbury’s, contributing to commercial plans, category growth strategies, and promotional activity.
* Data Analysis & Insight – Analyse sales, margin, and promotional performance to identify growth opportunities and optimise commercial results.
* Customer Engagement – Act as a commercial point of contact for Sainsbury’s, supporting initiatives, addressing queries, and strengthening retailer relationships.
* Promotions & Launch Management – Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activity to ensure commercial targets are met.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with supply chain, operations, and marketing teams to ensure commercial strategies are aligned with operational capabilities.
* Reporting & Performance Monitoring – Maintain accurate account data, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and translate insights into action.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external customers.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible approach with willingness to travel between Hull and Sherburn as required.
* Experience in retail, FMCG, or fresh meat categories is (highly desirable)
