Company Background
A financial services business who has experienced exponential growth is now looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The role
This role will include:
Build effective supplier and partner relationships to ensure timely payment.
Allocating payments to financial systems and accounts as a credit controller
Mitigate cash exposure and help to manage payments to external partners
Spot trends and risks and escalate to management as a credit controller
Manage stakeholders and raise concerns over non-payments
Cash collection via telephone as a credit controller
Investigate queries and proactively chase late payments from suppliers.
Develop and maintain records to track debt effectively and efficiently
Continuously improve our debt collection processes and reduce outstanding debt as a credit controller
Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the business
Responsible for achieving and exceeding cash collection targets
The candidate
The perfect candidate for the Credit Controller will have the following skills:
At least 1+ years credit control experience in a similar fast paced business
Ability to work well under pressure
Complete and thorough understanding of end-to- end credit control processes
Highly numerate, with the ability to process financial data quickly and with a strong attention to detail
