Job Overview
Oasis Academy Leesbrook seeks an experienced Pastoral Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running and effectiveness of the academy’s pastoral systems. This key role will make a significant impact on student behaviour, attendance, welfare and wellbeing.
Working closely with the Assistant Principal for Behaviour and Attitudes, the successful candidate will lead and line‑manage the five Head of Year teams, ensuring high‑quality pastoral provision and consistent application of academy policies. The role will develop and embed outstanding pastoral practice that enables all students to thrive in line with The Leesbrook Way.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Significant experience working in a pastoral, behaviour, or student welfare role within a secondary school
* Strong leadership and line‑management skills
* Data‑confident, with the ability to use information to drive improvement
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* Calm, resilient and solutions‑focused
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
