School Cleaners Required
Location: Leicester City

Contract: Long-Term & Ongoing
Hours: Various shifts available (early mornings to late afternoons)
Requirements: Previous cleaning experience & an enhanced DBS (essential)
About the Role
We are seeking committed and reliable School Cleaners to help maintain high standards of cleanliness across schools in Leicester. Your role will be essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Working to set schedules and following strict Health & Safety procedures, you will ensure all areas of the school-including classrooms, corridors, offices, washrooms, and communal spaces-are kept clean and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins
Clean and sanitise washrooms and toilet facilities
Use cleaning products safely and store all materials securely
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the Site Manager
Work independently or as part of a team to maintain consistent hygiene standards across the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous cleaning experience in a school, commercial, or industrial environment
Be trustworthy, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills
Understand Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Be dedicated to maintaining a safe and clean learning environment for children
