Job Role
* As the Sales Manager for Staffordshire and Derbyshire, you will report directly to the Senior Sales Manager. This is a dedicated, hands-on business development and territory management role. Your primary focus is 100% dedicated to securing high-value end-user accounts and driving volume through our core product lines.
* You will be the lead for the region, specialising in the sale of Industrial Gases, Helium, and Propane. Your objective is to dominate the Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, and M6/A50 corridors, specifically targeting consumers in the metal fabrication, automotive, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* End-User Acquisition: Take full ownership of the Staffordshire and Derbyshire territory to win new, volume B2B accounts.
* Industrial Gas & Specialist Product Sales Growth: Proactively hunt and close opportunities for our industrial cylinder gas portfolio. Drive sales across our specialist ranges, including Helium (welding, leak detection, and specialist applications) and Propane (industrial heating, cutting, and FLT fleets).
* Territory Management: Execute a high-level strategy for the East Midlands, ensuring maximum presence in key industrial hubs without the distraction of people management.
* Operational Excellence: Partner with the Senior Sales Manager to refine sales procedures, ensuring your time is spent on high-impact sales rather than administrative friction.
* Disciplined Planning: Maintain rigorous calendar discipline to ensure efficient route planning and consistent prospect engagement.
Skills and Experience
* Proven Field Sales Success: Experience in the Industrial Gas sector, and knowledge of Propane and Helium applications, is not required, as full training will be given.
* Business Development Focus: A "hunter" mentality with a track record of winning and retaining small to large-scale accounts.
* Strategic Mindset: The ability to see the "bigger picture" and transition from daily tasks to high-level territory growth.
* High-Performance Identity: A disciplined individual who is 100% committed to both professional excellence and personal growth.
* B2B Expertise: Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience required.
