Legal Executive – Glasgow Employment Type – Full Time, Permanent Salary – Competitive Quarterly Bonus Are you a Legal Executive in the Glasgow area looking for a new role in the housebuilding industry? Pettigrew Recruitment Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Legal Executive on behalf of a leading housebuilder. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal professional to play a pivotal role in the administration and coordination of the legal process for new home sales. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth progression of reservations through to legal completion, delivering key targets while maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy, communication and stakeholder engagement. The Role: As Legal Executive, you will effectively administer and coordinate all aspects of the legal process relating to house sales, ensuring timely completions and accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities include: Checking accuracy of reservation forms, plot schedules, customer profiles and chain progression sheets. Updating the sales system with new reservations and forwarding to appointed Solicitors. Monitoring progress of reservations through to legal completion. Providing weekly forecasts of contracts and legal completions. Reviewing contract documentation received from Solicitors. Serving notice to Solicitors upon plot completion and issuing final accounts for legal completion. Ensuring incentives are correctly reflected on completion statements and forwarded to Accounts. Adhering to Health, Safety & Sustainability standards and policies. About You We are seeking a proactive, organised and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering results. Essential Experience & Skills: Experience working within a legal or property background. Flexible and agile approach to work. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. Enthusiastic, self-motivated and solutions-focused. Prepared to work across a large geographical area. Excellent numeracy and strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of computer literacy in MS Office. Ability to work on your own initiative and meet deadlines. Desirable: Knowledge of people management tools and techniques.
