What You Will Do:

What We Look For:

* Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Extensive experience in maintenance and repairs.
* Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with CMMS (e.g., Shire/Maximo) is preferred.
* Apprenticeship trained with at least 3 years of experience.
* Proficient in IT and able to work independently.
* Experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, PLC would be beneficial.

About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical background. This role involves intricate mechanical work, primarily conducted when the factory isn't running. The work is split 50/50 between reactive and planned maintenance. You will be working across the two Pizza sites in Nottingham that are 1.5 miles away from each other. One site is the Pizza Bakery and the other site is Pizza Toppings.

Key Responsibilities

* Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors

* Planning maintenance work for the weekend shifts on Monday and Tuesday

* Supporting with machinery breakdowns as needed

* Ensuring smooth operations across both sites

About You

The Role

* Deliver and maintain the PPM programme using the CMMS system (FIIX)
* Ensure all plant, machinery, and buildings are maintained to meet production and safety standards
* Manage and oversee approved maintenance contractors
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal disruption to production
* Support the introduction of new products and manufacturing techniques (CIP/5S)
* Maintain compliance with PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, and other H&S regulations
* Work with robotics, cobotics, and machine communication protocols (Ethercat, Ethernet, Profibus, etc.)

About You
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Electrician or Fitter in a production environment
* Recognised qualifications in a relevant core trade
* Experience with PLC fault diagnosis and automated manufacturing systems
* Strong understanding of machine networking and communication protocols
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* IPAF MEWP Licence (Type 3A & 3B) preferred
* Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills
