To qualify as a Trainee AssocRICS Surveyor, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
1. An RICS-accredited surveying degree (graduate or postgraduate) including modules in valuation and/or building surveying, with at least one year of property-related work experience.
2. An RICS-approved HND, HNC, NVQ Level 3 diploma, BTEC, or foundation degree with two or more years of property-related work experience, such as estate agency or surveying/valuation disciplines.
3. A minimum of four years of property-related work experience, such as negotiator level or higher in estate agency, or equivalent experience in asset management, LPA, or property management involving caseload handling and decision-making in property matters.
