Overview
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with experience working to ISO9001, ISO13485 or AS9100 standards? This role is for an innovative, growing company based in Andover. It is a full-time on-site position with hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with an early Friday finish, and with a salary up to £42,500 depending on experience.
This Quality Engineer role involves maintaining expected product quality across production and customer areas, and playing a pivotal role in managing quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance to standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485. The role includes taking ownership of product investigations, corrective actions, audits and process improvements, and working closely with production, suppliers and senior engineers. It also supports new product introductions and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Maintain product quality across production and customer areas
* Manage quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 13485
* Take ownership of product investigations, corrective actions, audits and process improvements
* Collaborate with production teams, suppliers and senior engineers
* Support new product introductions and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
* Previous experience with product/quality investigations
* Experience working to ISO9001, ISO13485 or AS9100 standards
* Experience within Electronics/Electrical manufacturing is desirable
* Experience using tools such as 5Why, 8D and Ishikawa
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
