About The Role

Please note that this is a part-time role working 16 hours per week - full flexibility is required.

As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role as an Activities Co-ordinator will involve planning and implementing engaging activities that delight our Residents. You will also assist the Home Manager in organizing essential fundraising events. Whether you're boosting Residents' confidence to socialise, developing new activities based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, your approach will be rooted in kindness.

We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Beyond experience, your positive energy, ability to connect with people, strong planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. Effective time management and considerate communication with Residents and colleagues are also important.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is crucial that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff will receive safeguarding training relevant to their role, with additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
