Based in Gillingham site, you'll support the full product lifecycle-from design and development to manufacturing and aftermarket services. Key Responsibilities: Design high-precision components, with a focus on diesel high-pressure fuel injection pumps. Create innovative design solutions aligned with evolving business needs. Analyse simulation and test data to inform improvements and concept proposals. Collaborate across internal departments to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and assembly efficiency. Produce 3D models using Solidworks and detailed engineering drawings using the latest GD&T practices. Participate in design and development reviews in accordance with PDP milestones. Apply DFMEA methodology to assess design robustness and mitigate risk. Maintain a cost-conscious mindset regarding supplier and manufacturing implications.
