To deliver the duties and responsibilities of a Company Director as set out in the Companies Act(s) and those of a Trustee, as required by law and the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. Experience Required Experience of working at a senior management or governance level. This can be in the voluntary, public, or private sectors. Experience of operating at a strategic level, including strategic planning and development. Experience in executive level financial decision making and have a high degree of financial acumen. Expertise in customer relationship management and knowledge of digital development and digital transformation strategies. Key requirements for the role include: Possessing digital literacy and sound awareness of emerging technology to manage risks and opportunities associated with technology effectively with robust controls and systems. Providing expertise in digital practices, assisting NI Hospice to leverage technology for enhance outcomes, guiding the Board on how to best utilise digital tools effectively and ensure alignment with NI Hospice's strategic objectives and enhancing governance. Sharing collective responsibility as a Trustee for the continuing development of a quality assurance framework that identifies, meets and exceeds required regulatory standards. Providing advice and guidance to the Board of Trustees on digital transformation, fostering digital literacy and supporting strategic digital initiatives including technology innovation, online service delivery, data protection, cyber security, digital inclusion, accessibility and legislation.
