GSL Education are currently welcoming applications from a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in building strong foundations in computing, programming, and digital literacy. As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage logical thinking, creativity, and an understanding of modern technology. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality computing lessons as a Computer Science Teacher. Teach programming, algorithms, and key computer science concepts. Support pupils in developing analytical and problem-solving skills. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the computing curriculum. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Computer Science in a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. An engaging, enthusiastic, and motivating teaching approach. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
