The Vacancy
Maternity Cover - 1 year
Full Time or Part Time
As the key representative and ambassador for rent and service charges, you will manage key processes and stakeholder relationships within the Finance directorate of around 60 people. You will manage a small team and contribute to the strategic direction of the function.
You will provide expert advisory services to service owners and budget holders, ensuring value for money for customers while maximizing rent and service charge recovery for the Group.
* Proven experience in rent and service charge management, with strong leasehold and housing legislation knowledge.
* Understanding of accounting procedures to monitor and review service charge recovery.
* Experience working in a Finance team with strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.
* Ability to plan and organize resources for rent and service charge deadlines.
* Attention to detail and compliance monitoring within legislation and service delivery standards.
* Ability to analyze systems and processes, developing solutions to improve customer services.
* Excellent customer focus, commercial acumen, and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
* Confidence in handling challenges and conflicts, always working towards the best outcomes for the business and customers.
* Support the delivery of the rent and service charge transformation project and the implementation of new modules.
* Work closely with project teams to support project delivery.
Reduced-Hours Opportunity
We welcome applications for reduced-hours contracts (circa 30 hours over 4 days). Please specify this clearly in your application. Our standard hours are 37 hours/week: 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday, 09:00 - 17:00 on Fridays.
