About the Role
Are you ready to lead the transformation of supply chain governance within the nuclear sector? EDF seeks a dynamic Senior Governance Specialist to develop and implement top-tier governance, oversight, and compliance frameworks. Your expertise will drive process improvements, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to supply chain protocols.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Supply Chain professional, you will enhance governance and oversight across Nuclear Operations, providing guidance to improve processes and performance. You will be part of the Supply Chain Business Improvement and Governance Team, maintaining high standards, transparency, and effective decision-making. The role is based at Gloucester Business Park with a hybrid working model (2-3 days in-office) and occasional travel to nuclear power stations.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will contribute to developing and implementing the Nuclear Operations Supply Chain Governance & Business Improvement Strategy. Your responsibilities include promoting functional improvements, sharing best practices, influencing stakeholders, leading projects, and delivering training. You will benchmark against industry best practices, produce governance reports, and contribute to EDF Energy-wide supply chain initiatives.
Who You Are
Ideally, you hold a degree or HNC in a relevant field and have experience in supply chain roles, preferably within the nuclear or regulated industries. You possess strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills, with a good understanding of current supply chain practices. You are proactive in tackling complex problems, with excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
