Are you an HR Officer looking for the next step in your career? MCS Group is excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company, recruiting for an HR Manager to join their dynamic team.
Overview
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all HR functions in line with wider business goals and strategies. In this standalone role, you will have the opportunity to improve company performance and employee experience through HR processes.
Main Responsibilities
1. Core HR administration: Manage onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and maintain employee information on the HRIS. Respond promptly to related queries.
2. Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviews, and extending offers.
3. Graduate and apprenticeship schemes: Manage these programs, working with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
4. Talent strategy: Partner with leadership to shape performance review frameworks, feedback cycles, and initiatives to enhance staff development and retention.
5. Learning & Development: Plan and deliver training aligned with business goals, coordinating with internal and external providers.
6. Employee relations: Support areas such as managing absence, resolving grievances, and advising on HR policies.
7. Employee engagement and wellbeing: Contribute to CSR and internal initiatives to foster a strong organizational culture and boost morale.
8. Strategic HR initiatives: Collaborate with senior leaders on projects that align HR practices with company objectives and improve operations.
9. Workforce planning: Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, recommending recruitment or development solutions.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a similar role within relevant industry
* CIPD certification or working towards it
* Degree in HR Management or related field (advantageous)
* Competent in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
