We are currently looking for a Policy Manager to join our Communications team on a full time fixed term contract until April 2027.
As a Policy Manager, you will play an active role to deliver a robust Corporate Affairs strategy, as part of the wider Communications strategy and the Southbank Centre’s organisational objectives.

The annual salary stated is based on the Full-Time Equivalent (40 hours per week). If the job is part-time, the weekly hours will be stated within the advert.

Key Responsibilities
* With the Head of Corporate Affairs and Policy, lead and manage the development and delivery of agreed policy objectives, as outlined in the Southbank Centre’s Corporate Affairs and Policy strategy
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with key partners and stakeholders to help us achieve these objectives
* Support the Head of Corporate Affairs and Policy and the Director of Communications to articulate the impact of the Southbank Centre and vision of its leadership, as part of the Southbank Centre’s wider communications strategy
* Support the Head of Corporate Affairs and Policy and the Director of Communications to ensure that everyone across the Southbank Centre lives and breathes our impact story
* Support the Head of Corporate Affairs and Policy in developing our annual Impact Report
Skills & Experience
* Has experience of developing and delivering policy objectives
* Has experience of the managing relationships with political stakeholders
* Has strong written skills, tailored to varying audiences, which includes writing with creativity and a sharp attention to detail
* A confident networker, with excellent relationship building skills
* Understands issues facing the subsidised arts sector, and the Southbank Centre in particular
