About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insolvency Manager to lead and manage our Insolvency Administration Team in Leeds. This is a key leadership role suited to a commercially focused insolvency professional with strong people management skills and a solid background in commercial insolvency.
You will oversee the operational delivery of corporate insolvency cases while driving team performance, efficiency, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage the Insolvency Administration Team
* Oversee workflow, case allocation, and team productivity
* Ensure high standards of case administration and compliance
* Provide technical guidance and support on corporate insolvency matters
* Review reports, statutory documentation, and case progress
* Drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures
* Support staff development, training, and performance management
* Liaise with directors, creditors, solicitors, and stakeholders as required
* Assist with complex or high-value insolvency cases where necessary
About You
We are looking for a confident leader with strong technical expertise and a proactive management style.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience working in commercial insolvency
* Previous team leadership or management experience
* Strong technical knowledge of corporate insolvency procedures
* Ability to oversee multiple cases and deadlines
* Excellent communication and people management skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* High attention to detail and compliance awareness
Desirable:
* CPI / JIEB qualification (or working towards)
* Experience improving operational processes or workflows
