Overview
The ECE Sussex studio is seeking a motivated and ambitious Senior Architectural Technologist to work as part of our Technical team on a range of projects varying in size and complexity. You will have the opportunity to take a pivotal role in leading the delivery on a range of medium to large-scale mixed-use and residential projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards. We are seeking an individual with client-facing experience in medium to large-scale residential projects, including mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery on a range of medium to large-scale mixed-use and residential projects from RIBA Stage 4 onwards.
* Apply strong technical skills across projects, coordinating with internal design teams and external consultants.
* Prepare detailed working drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations, schedules and details) and coordinate a drawing package with other design consultants.
* Demonstrate initiative and strong communication skills, while supporting autonomous work.
* Maintain awareness of project scope and budget, with emphasis on delivering high-quality technical detailing and contemporary construction methodologies.
Essential qualifications and experience
* Strong technical skills gained on a range of medium to large scale projects (experience in residential and mixed-use is highly beneficial).
* Excellent AutoCAD and IT (Microsoft Office) skills.
* Current working knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential.
* An understanding of the current Building Regulations, NHBC/ LABC Warranty Guidance and Associated Housing Standards.
* Experience in effectively leading project teams and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
* Ability to prepare detailed working drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations, schedules and details).
* Ability to coordinate a drawing package in conjunction with other design consultants.
* Lead with initiative and exceptional communication skills, while enabling autonomous work.
* Extensive technical proficiency across a diverse range of projects, preferably including a value of £5m or more.
* Proven track record in overseeing projects through RIBA Stages 4, 5, and 6, particularly within the residential and commercial sectors.
* Demonstration of advanced technical detailing abilities and an understanding of contemporary construction methodologies.

Studio
ECE Sussex is a modern, highly sociable studio, just a stone throw from the seafront in West Sussex. The studio is within a short walk of Worthing and East Worthing train stations and free parking is available within a 15-minute walk. The Sussex studio is on the ground floor and is fully accessible from street level. There are gender-neutral and accessible toilet facilities on-site.
