We are currently seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual to join our expanding team. This role offers a valuable opportunity to serve as a client-facing representative of the Company, while upholding the reputation of a well-respected brand renowned for its quality and creativity.
Role Description
Applicants should have a strong background within bespoke furniture and a minimum of three years' proven experience working with FF&E within the commercial sector. You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, assisting in the successful completion of projects with a first-class level of service. The role involves confidently engaging with clients face-to-face to establish long term relationships, as well as offering administrative support to the team within the office environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership for our high-value customer accounts, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring the establishment and maintenance of strong, long-lasting partnerships, whilst proactively identifying opportunities to add value.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing projects and encourage repeat business.
* Maintain a clear understanding of the client briefs, continuously building rapport and providing tailor made solutions to meet their individual needs.
* Develop account development strategies to facilitate further growth, whether through upselling new product ranges, introducing customised options, or enhancing service delivery.
* Demonstrate leadership and confidence in preparing, delivering and leading face-to-face client meetings.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams across design, production, planning, and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met comprehensively and within agreed timeframes.
* Monitor key performance indicators such as sales volume, lead times, delivery accuracy, and service levels, and address any issues promptly. Attend client meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events as necessary to maintain close contact and stay informed of market trends.
* Experience in managing client contracts to ensure comprehensive understanding of the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place, with the aim of meeting expectations and minimising risk.
* Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to forecast customer demand, support planning cycles, and maintain visibility of the pipeline and potential growth opportunities.
Key Qualifications & Experience
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within the furniture / interiors sector.
• Proven experience in managing commercial projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take ownership and lead meetings effectively.
• Outstanding organisational abilities, with a strong attention to detail in task completion and execution.
• Capability to work independently with a high level of initiative, whilst also demonstrating a collaborative team mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting CAD drawings would be advantageous but is not essential.
