About the Role
As a Mobile Service Technician, you will travel to customer sites to diagnose, service, and repair special purpose vehicles and equipment. You will act as the face of our service operation, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend customer sites as a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair special purpose vehicles.
* Carry out repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
* Manage your own workload and communicate updates clearly with the Service Team.
* Complete all service sheets, job cards, and documentation accurately.
* Promote parts and services where appropriate.
* Maintain a professional image at all times, including company van cleanliness and on-site behaviour.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Qualified mechanic (HGV, plant, forklift, military engineering, or automotive).
* Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and diagnostic procedures.
* Background working with special purpose vehicles, mobile plant, or forklifts highly beneficial.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Knowledge of diesel and electric engines.
* Reasonably clean driving licence.
* Willingness to travel for field service work regularly.
