Cleaner and Caretaker – North Yorkshire Council at Bishop Monkton C of E Primary School, Bishop Monkton HG3 3QW, Ripon area.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings.
* Locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm, and ensuring the site is fully secure (caretaker responsibilities).
Hours and Schedule
Cleaner role: up to 18 hours per week, typically 15:30 to 19:15, Monday to Friday with some flexibility on start and finish times. No weekend work for the cleaner role. The base hours/public rate are described as 15:30–19:15 totalling 18 hours per week; some postings mention up to 23 hours per week.
Caretaker role: up to 5 hours per week, additional duties at the same site, with an hourly rate of £12.85–£13.47 per hour.
