About Everton Football Club

Everton Football Club is one of the world's most respected and revered names in sport – a by-word for innovation, professionalism and community. The club has a glittering history spanning three centuries, forged by the aspirational motto “Nil Satis Nisi Optimum” – nothing but the best is good enough. As a founder member of both the Football League and Premier League, we have played more top‑flight games than any other club, winning nine league titles, five FA Cups and a European Cup Winners’ Cup.

In summer 2025 we moved to Hill Dickinson Stadium, a world‑class waterfront arena on Liverpool’s iconic River Mersey. The new home is the most sustainable and accessible Premier League stadium, also a state‑of‑the‑art 365‑venue for non‑football events and conferences.

On the pitch, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our Men’s, Women’s and Academy set‑ups that inspire, bring pride and continue to compete at the highest level of the game.

Opportunity

This role sits within the Football Strategy & Analytics Department and reports to the Head of Football Strategy & Analytics and the Technical Director. You will help shape and deliver the club’s football strategy.

* Stakeholder Support & Delivery

Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans. Support the delivery of strategic initiatives through structured project management approaches.

* Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Who We Are Looking For

We seek a highly analytical and strategically minded professional with a strong understanding of elite football operations and decision‑making. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders. Prior experience in a strategy, analytics, or consulting role—ideally within a professional football club or high‑performance sporting environment—is required. Demonstrated success in supporting strategic projects, performance analysis and executive‑level reporting, coupled with excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, will set you apart.

The role is permanent and will be based at Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool (Halewood). It involves a 40‑hour work week, with the closing date of the advert on Friday 10th April 2026. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a substantial amount of applications.
