An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a forward thinking and supportive team in Berkshire. This well-established, RCVS accredited practice has been serving the local community for over 50 years, delivering high quality care to small animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and a wide variety of exotic species such as guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, tortoises, and birds. The practice is proud to work at special charity rates with local organisations and regularly engages with schools and nurseries to inspire the next generation of veterinary professionals. The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a separate Cat Clinic with Silver Cat Friendly accreditation, a dedicated dental suite with radiography and digital X-rays, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and advanced surgical equipment. Visiting specialists in orthopaedics and dermatology further enhance the care that can be delivered in-house. You’ll join a fantastic team of five vets, seven RVNs, two SVNs, two PCAs, and an excellent support and client care team, all working together to provide compassionate, patient focused care. This is a role for a motivated and confident Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a mixture of consults and surgery. The ideal candidate will thrive in sole charge situations for some evenings and Saturdays, demonstrating strong clinical judgement, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for teamwork.
