We’re recruiting on behalf of a modern and ambitious secondary school in the West Midlands for a Science Supply Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible teaching, thrives in a supportive environment, and is confident delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
The role includes:
1. Delivering high‑quality Science lessons using pre‑planned materials
2. Teaching across KS3 and KS4 (all sciences)
3. Maintaining a positive, well‑managed classroom environment
4. Supporting students’ learning and progress during staff absences
The school is looking for someone who:
5. Has strong subject knowledge in Science
6. Can quickly build rapport with students and staff
7. Is adaptable, reliable, and confident stepping into different classes
8. Has experience teaching in a secondary setting
9. Holds QTS or equivalent teaching experience
