Role Responsibilities
* Supporting audit assignments both in and out of the office, working as part of a team
* Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Preparing business tax computations and associated schedules
* Assisting the accounts team in managing a portfolio of clients, dealing with year-end and ad-hoc queries
* Occasionally assisting with management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns as required
* Advising clients on the most suitable accounting software solutions for their businesses
* Supporting the wider team with general office duties to maintain a high standard of client service

Candidate Requirements
* Minimum of two years’ experience in an accountancy practice, ideally within audit or a multi-disciplinary role
* AAT finalist/qualified or commenced ACCA/ACA studies
* Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Ability to meet deadlines through effective time management
* IT confident, with experience in using accounting and audit software
