Your role:
The Be Well Team are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents across the Wigan Borough.
You will be responsible for dealing with and responding to a full range of Be Well enquires, including but not exclusively the triage of participants onto a variety of our Health Improvement & Wellbeing programmes, online account registrations, membership enquiries, activity bookings and general Leisure Centre enquiries via phone but also via other routes such as e-mail and web contacts.
You will embrace and effectively engage our residents in an asset-based conversation that seeks to understand the knowledge, skills, and talents, needs and aspirations of our residents and ensure they are signposted to the relevant support access routes that could improve their health and wellbeing.
Shift patterns vary, Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 17:00pm. Saturday shifts on a rota basis between 10:00am and 14:00pm working into the rota to meet the needs of the service. The role is predominantly based within the Be Well office in the Wigan Life Centre however attendance across the Be Well sites may be required to support with training and outreach activity.
About you:
You will have the ability to work as part of a team and take your own initiative. Possessing a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above to include Maths and English or equivalent qualifications you will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer service environment and the ability to remain calm and professional.
With a passion for Health and Wellbeing and an advocate for Be Well you will hold excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills.
Through your skills, qualifications or experience you will be competent in using IT systems and the ability to quickly identify problems and provide appropriate solutions.
