Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders, supporting project delivery, and ensuring profitability across a diverse portfolio of public sector projects.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for projects up to £5m in value.

Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce costings.
*
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
*
Work closely with the pre-construction and project teams to ensure smooth handover of successful bids.
*
Identify value engineering opportunities and assess project risks.
*
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
*
Keep up to date with industry sta50ndards, regulations, and pricing trends.
Candidate Profile
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E or building services sector.
*
Strong knowledge of electrical systems in public sector environments (schools, healthcare, government buildings).
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
*
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
*
Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
