The Job Role:
To be responsible for developing, implementing and organising safety programs. To review and update institutional HSH policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.
Typical duties include:
* Support the top management in HSE policy and guidelines issue
* Take part in accident/ Incident Investigations
* Carry out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
* Carry out any in house safety training
* Perform Risk Assessments
* Liaise between clients on safety related issues
* Assist the commercial, engineering and operations department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with health and safety
* Provide Technical support to senior management on any safety related subjects
* Conduct safety audits both internal and external
* Assist with field operations and carry out on site training and job management assistance
* Meeting customers for work scope preparation
The Successful Candidate:
Must have proven experience in a similar role.
* NEBOSH Certificate Min Requirement
* ISO Auditing experience
* Incident Investigation experience
* Knowledge of UK HSE Legislation
* Teacher /Training Experience
* Able to form good relationships
* Team working skills
* Good communication skills
* Effective organisational skills
