You will play a key role in developing and supporting our EPMA system, workingclosely with pharmacy, clinical and IT teams to improve digital workflows andenhance patient care. You will also work with a range of digital pharmacytechnologies including the Prescription Tracking System (PTS), BD Robot, BDMedStation and CIISafe.
Alongside your digital responsibilities, you will maintain a strong presence inthe dispensary and clinical pharmacy team, supporting safe and timely medicinessupply while contributing to training, service improvements and SOPdevelopment.

Main duties of the job
Join our forwardthinking EPMA team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in shapingsafe, modern, digital medicines management across the Trust. You willhelp drive continuous development of EPMA, support the rollout of newfunctionality, and ensure our systems work smoothly for staff and patients.

Experience
* Able to tolerate interruptions and deal with stress, complaints and conflict.
Knowledge
* To undertake Continuing Professional Development Assess stock returned from the wards including hazardous substances;
* Specialist medical knowledge acquired through training and experience
* Extensive experience in hospital pharmacy
* Advanced computer keyboard/labelling skills requiring accurate data input working within narrow margins of error.
* Knowledge of Trust/departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
* NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
* Evidence of CPD
* Educated to diploma level in an IT related subject or equivalent experience
* Accredited checking technician/CD competent. .
