Supplier Quality Engineer

About the Role
Are you passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and building strong supplier partnerships? My prestigious client is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the global supply chain delivers products that meet their high standards and specifications. Youll play a pivotal role in supplier development, qualification, and audit processessupporting both their technical teams and strategic procurement efforts.
What Youll Do
* Conduct supplier audits, qualifications, and evaluations in collaboration with global and local teams.
* Develop and maintain annual audit plans and ensure follow-ups are completed.
* Lead continuous improvement efforts by monitoring supplier KPIs and managing NCRs.
* Create and enhance global procedures for supplier qualification and quality management.
* Provide technical support to suppliers and internal stakeholders across procurement, design, and operations.
* There will be some travelling in the UK, Europe and overseas depending upon where the suppliers are located.
About you!
* Education: Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
* Experience: Prior experience in supplier qualityideally within the Manufacturing/Engineering sector.
* Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Certification: Qualified Auditor (internal or external).
* Personality: Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive problem-solver.
